Just a few days after HP announced the fire sale on HP Touchpad, hackers have been able to get Android 2.2.1 running on it. This bad boy started at 499 but the price has ran up to 860 so far. Does it have potential to sell over 1000? Why not just buy a XOOM running Android 3.0?
So we have the Apple iPad, and we’ve seen what the new Android 3.0 OS can do on the Mircosoft Xoom. Now we have HP Touchpad out running the latest version of Web OS. As the original release of Web OS, the interface is very fluid and highly comparable to iOS. Will HP be able to make WebOS into a winner? Something Palm lacked doing? Along with the HP touchpad, they also released Pre 3, and a smaller version of the WebOS phone. Rumor has it the HP TouchPad will go for 699. Apple 16 GB version is looking like a rockstar right now.
As requested by Palm users. Palm has added a 3rd Party App Catalog to their site. The site gives a brief overview of each 3rd party app that is in the WebOS App catalog.
Rumors are floating across the web on a potential Centro 2/Pre Mini phone sporting Web OS. According to Engadget this phone might be coming to AT&T.

Questions to be asked: Why is Palm moving away from its focus? No release date for the Palm Pre yet.. May 17 is getting closer and no announcement. June 7 looks more doable.
